Raforkusalinn Fallorka hættir um áramót.
Viðskiptavinir sem hafa verið hjá Fallorku þurfa að velja sér nýjan raforkusala fyrir 10. desember. Skilaboð þess efnis hafa borist frá Netorku sem er miðlægur þjónustuaðili dreifiveitna og raforkusölufyrirtækja.
Athugið að Veitur eru dreifiveita fyrir rafmagn, ekki raforkusali, og má ekki aðstoða viðskiptavini við að velja raforkusala.
Engin skilaboð berast frá Veitum þar sem viðskiptavinir fá hlekk til að setja inn greiðsluupplýsingar.
Upplýsingar um raforkusala er að finna á vef Umhverfis- og orkustofnunar og viðskiptavinir þurfa að fara í gegnum ferlið hjá þeim raforkusala sem valinn er. Það er tiltölulega einfalt ferli, en Veitur mega hvorki né geta aðstoðað við það.

Choosing an Electricity Supplier
The electricity supplier Fallorka will cease operations at the end of the year.
Customers who have been with Fallorka must choose a new electricity supplier before December 10th. A message about this has been sent out by Netorka, the central service operator for distribution system operators and electricity suppliers.
Please note that Veitur is a distribution utility for electricity, not an electricity supplier, and therefore cannot assist customers in choosing a supplier.
Veitur and Netorka do not send any messages containing links for customers to enter payment information.
Information about electricity suppliers can be found on the website of the Environment and Energy Agency (Umhverfis- og orkustofnun), and customers must go through the process with the electricity supplier they choose. It is a relatively simple process, but Veitur may not and cannot provide assistance with it.
